Trenčianské Teplice (Slovakia)
The spa history of Trenčianske Teplice, Slovakia goes back to the beginning of our era, when the local castle rock had been carved with a sign 179 A.D. According to the legend, a shepherd looking for a stray sheep discovered the healing springs. The sheep had been found washing her wounded leg in hot springs. This legend speaks to us also from the local urban crest, which illustrates the springs bubble up from the depths of the country. The strongest of them has a temperature of 39 ° C and rises from the ground with the force of 22 liters per second.
