Slovak National Gallery
Gallery in Slovakia offering you an opportunity to view permanent and temporary exhibitions of Slovak and international art, from Gothic style to the modern trends.
It's a top art-historical, collector, research and cultural and educational institution founded by the Law of Slovak National Council n. 24 from the 24th July, 1948. Its founder is a poet, journalist and writer Laco Novomeský, at that time comissioner for the educational system, science and art. The Slovak National Gallery has its seat in Bratislava and is composed of a complex of buildings, the so-called Water caserns and new frontal additional building.
