This is a permanent exposition from private collections of works by Czech artisans over the centuries.
Our company was created in March 2005 with a single purpose of developing a museum of historical mechanical musical instruments including mechanical gramophones and phonographs. It is located in historic part of the city of Prague.
Our interest lies in preserving the proof of artistic and technical capabilities of our forefathers in the general area of building and using the automated mechanical musical instruments. Our many years of effort culminated in establishing of this company. We shall be pleased to demonstrate to you any musical instrument from our collection. You will be able to appreciate how challenging it was to design and build instruments capable of producing a beautiful melody. Come back with us to the workshops of artisans of the past and experience the beauty they achieved by giving these machines a soul.
