Museum in the former mine in Vinařine near Kladno.
While visiting this open-air museum in the former mine in Vinařine near Kladno, you will see an exhibition of the history of coal-mining and numerous technical mining monuments of the Kladno and Slánsko Townships. The museum also offers a 130 m gallery in the Homola hill, preserved mining machines from the beginning of the 20th. century, an exhibition of the Mining rescue station and mine geometry, chain changing rooms, a documentary centre with a video programme about the history of coal-mining in the Mayrau mine and an exhibition of fossils and geology. There is a nice view of the whole area from a lookout tower.
