The Konopiště Chateau is about 45 kms out of Prague. It was founded in the 14th century and in 1887 it was renovated by the successor to the Habsburg throne, Frantisek Ferdinand d´Este, who was assassinated in Sarajevo in 1914, starting the World War I. This chateau is famous for its fascinating collection of weapons and hunting trophies.
