One of the oldest Czech royal castles.

He standing on a high promontory above Rakovnický creek, got its present image at the turn of the 19th.  and 20th. centuries, when it was rebuilt in a Neo-Gothic style. The exhibition shows historical interiors, museum and gallery exhibits, a chapel, an armorial hall, a knights´ hall, a gallery, a library, a museum, a prison with a dungeon, castle galleries and a hunting exhibition in a big tower.
