Kežmarok castle is the only fully preserved castle in the region Spiš

The dominant of the town Kežmarok is the Castle Kežmarský hrad. Originally it was built as a gothic castle. The castle gained its contemporary Renaissance form after extensive rebuilding, completed by Šebastián Thököly, who made a representative family mansion out of the castle.Today the castle is the residence of Podtatranske Museum in Kežmarok. Its visitors can see many expositions:
