The museum is set in a beautiful Baroque summer house, designed by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer for earl Michna from Vacínov, and it is now known as the Villa Amerika.
It features the life and achievements of the world famous composer Antonín Dvořák (1841–1904). The collections include his manuscripts, photos and other precious documents, including a library and a sound recordings library. The museum also holds discussions, concerts and other cultural events.
