Rebublic Square - start out point, St. Joseph’s church, Kotva department store opened in the end of 70th, the modern Palladium shopping mall, established in 2007 in the former barracks of George from Podebrady, newly opened King´s Court Prague De Luxe Hotel.
Jewish Quarter Josefov - situated in the Old Town, famous for the oldest preserved synagogue in Europe, it offers Prague visitors Old-New, Klausen, Maisel, Pinkas, Spanish synagogues and Old Jewish Cemetery. Many important persons, who had direct contacts with the Czech ruler, used to live in the Jewish town. The most famous are Jehuda Löw ben Becalel, creator of legendary Golem, patron and architect Mordechaj Maisel, Jakob Basevi and David Gans. Jewish museum in Prague is one of the biggest Jewish museums in the world.
Old Town Square - with Jan Hus monument in the middle of the square, it is a popular meeting place not only for inhabitants but also for visitors of Prague. Stunning houses surrounding the square as Old Town Hall, Church of our Lady before Týn, Church of St. Nicholas, house „At stone bell“, Kinský Palace and others are admired by many visitors while sitting on the benches or garden restaurants on the square. On the Old Town square traditional markets, concerts and social events take often place.
Manes Bridge - it connects Lesser Town, Klárov with Old Town, Alsovo embankment. The bridge was built in the years 1911 – 1914.
Prague Castle - it is the biggest castle in the world, the monumental place of the Czech Republic. In the past it used to be a seat of the Czech rulers and nowadays it is a seat of the president of the Czech Republic. Prague Castle attracts visitors by its famous sites: St. Vitus‘ Cathedral, Basilica of St. George, Old and New Royal Palace, Spanish Hall, Ball room, Daliborka Tower and the Golden Lane. Prague Castle has several entrances, and the most beautiful is by the Old Castle Stairs or from Petřín. Czech Crown Jewels are safely deposited in the St.Vitus‘ Cathedral. The biggest Czech bell Zikmund hangs in the tower of the Cathedral and in the Royal mausoleum underneath Czech kings and emperors rest.
Lesser Town Square - it used to be the centre of the Lesser Town already from its foundation. It is a cross place of roads leading from Klárov, Charles Bridge and Smíchov.
Újezd - Újezd connects the Karmelitska street with Kinsky square. Újezd used to be a part of the old road, leading from the Lesser Town to the South Bohemia and Germany. The street was added officially to the Lesser Town during the reign of Charles IV because of the building of the Hungry Wall.
Bridge Legii - it is the seventh Prague bridge over Vltava River (counting down the river) and it connects the Lesser Town with the Old Town. It goes over the Strelecky island and connects it with both embankments. The arched bridge of granite blocks was built in 1898 – 1901.
National Theatre - it is the prominent Czech theatre scene of the Czech Republic and one of the symbols of national identity and part of the European cultural space. The National Theatre belongs to the most important Czech cultural institutions with a rich artistic tradition. Today it consists of three artistic ensembles – opera, drama and ballet.
Wenceslas Square - is the business and social heart of Prague. The square is 682 m long and 60 m wide. It goes from the National Museum to Mustek. The Wenceslas Square has witnessed already many historical events. It is also a traditional place of celebrations, demonstrations and mass meetings.
