Dear Ms Markova,
I have returned to London after a very good trip to Prague. The staff at Hotel Tosca were very helpful and took a great deal of effort to make my stay (and that of others in my group who were also staying in the hotel at the same time) comfortable.
I particularly appreciated the provision of vegan options for breakfast. Could you please pass on my appreciation to the hotel staff in the kitchen, reception as well as the manager?
I will definitely recommend Hotel Tosca to any friends, especially vegan friends, who are visiting Prague.

We were in the Hotel from 5-8/07. We liked everything. Breakfast was good, and so were the rooms. Prague is beautiful, it is worth the visit. The best was that while we were in Prague, Spain passed to the semi finals! (World Cup). We watched at the square... (I DON`T UNDERSTAND WHICH SQUARE!) with a lot os spanish peope and germans as well. ... Now Spain is in the final with Netherlands, we hope they win!! We loved the goulash, the beer and ... (BROCHETAS??? I DON`t UNDERSTAND)` Then they cheer to a soccer player

The hotel is in a great location just around the corner from a Metro station. I is also only a short walk from the main tourist areas. The only down side was the lack of coffee making facilities. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for a week over Christmas and found the staff to be generally very friendly and very helpful, especially as compared to the typical Praguer in our experience. For breakfast they serve a variety of breads along with cheese, coldcuts, yogurt, cereal, and a hot dish that changes daily (though usually some kind of sausage). The location is great. The metro/tram stop is very close, and there are a few restaurants and cafes nearby. The bar in the hotel lobby seemed to never be open. The room we had was small but definitely in keeping with the price we paid. The only negative that I could come up with for this hotel would be that the street noise can be quite loud at times in the middle of the night (so make sure to request a room at the back as others have said). Overall I was pleased with the quality for the price. I would definitely stay there again

When arrived at the hotel found TWO single beds....
This was the one and only issue we found with this hotel.
Very nice room ( apart from bed arrangement), lovely bathroom, tv, but the important thing was it was clean.
City centre called for a beer so went to find a local brew.
Breakfast in the morning was served downstairs , a good array of bread, cereals, juice etc to have at your own pace ,no one wanting to take your empty plates as soon as you are finished.
Breakfast over and a quick word with the lady on the reception (Vera) and the bed issue was sorted.
Vera was lovely,good English and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel is about 15-20 min walk down to the main area,we both walked everywhere in Prague but there was a tram stop very near to the Tosca.
Some other reviews said there was a issue with noise from trams etc but we had no problems .
So with the good weather, great company and knowing you were going back to a clean comfortable hotel it made the long week end excellent.
Overall a good ,no frills,clean hotel i would recommend to anyone.

Firstly, I apologize for sending this so very late. My husband and I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our stay with you during the Christmas holiday 2007. Breakfast each morning was delicious! The room was quite nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful.
We especially appreciated your "Assistance with a Smile" whenever we returned to the hotel late in the evening or needed a place to park our rental car! You were there for us no matter the issue and it was much appreciated!

"Nice Place for an Affordable Price"

My first visit to Czech Republic with a couple of friends, and did not have a place where we could stay. An agent in the airport suggested this small hotel in Prague´s downton, close to the places we wanted to see the most. The hotel is not bad, have affordable price for the room and their staff is nice and willing to help you if you request their help. Rooms are pretty neat, bathrooms are in good shape and have hot water and good space. Although the breakfast menu is limited, and there are things you may have to pay extra (safe, internet, for instance), the hotel is good and may recommended it for people who want a room thinking on their budget.

We would like to recommend this hotel to all future travelers from South Africa. It is coviently situated near the metro and tram lines which is accessible to all the major turist attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful.
I hope to return someday.
